Professional Power Skating Coach
Tammie Wilson is a professional power skating coach dedicated to helping hockey players and skaters improve speed, edge control, balance, efficiency, and confidence on the ice. With extensive experience as a competitive skater, certified judge, and elite-level coach, Tammie brings a technical, encouraging, and results-driven approach to every lesson.
Tammie holds a USA Hockey Level IV rating and has coached skaters across a wide range of levels, from developing youth athletes to junior, collegiate, professional, and semi-professional hockey players. A medalist competitor figure skater, Tammie earned medalist placements in Regional, Sectional, and National competitions through both USFS and ISI, and holds an ISI Bronze Judge certification. She is also a member of PSA, USFS, ISI, and USA Hockey.
As a coach, Tammie specializes in power skating for hockey players, figure skating, Moves in the Field, and speed skating. Her training focuses on strong skating fundamentals, including edge mastery, body position, balance, stride mechanics, acceleration, transitions, and game-ready movement.

Her coaching philosophy is built on the belief that skaters must develop excellent edge quality, proper body alignment, balance, and consistent practice habits in order to reach their full potential. Just as importantly, Tammie believes players perform their best when they enjoy the process, love being on the ice, and build confidence through steady, purposeful improvement.
In addition to her work as a skating coach, Tammie has contributed to the hockey community in unique ways, including serving as the Carolina Hurricanes mascot, “Stormy”, and appearing in National Lampoon’s Pucked, starring Jon Bon Jovi.
